Main Purpose of the Role

To provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and administrative oversight of the ministry, ensuring the fulfilment of GKM’s vision and mission. The role involves preaching, teaching, leading worship, mentoring leaders, and developing community outreach programs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all worship services, teaching, and ministry activities.
  • Provide pastoral care, spiritual counselling, and discipleship.
  • Develop and implement GKM’s strategic vision and mission in partnership with church leadership.
  • Recruit, mentor, and equip ministry leaders and volunteers.
  • Foster unity and community engagement within and beyond the church.
  • Manage church programs including youth, children, and outreach ministries.
  • Plan and conduct church ceremonies (baptisms, weddings, funerals, hospital visits, etc.).
  • Represent GKM in community, interdenominational, and international networks.
  • Maintain GKM’s social media and digital outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and other legal requirements.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of full-time ministry experience.
  • Relevant theological training (degree or diploma in Biblical Studies, Theology, or Pastoral Ministry).
  • Demonstrated experience leading a multicultural congregation.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and pastoral skills.
  • Commitment to the core beliefs and values of GKM.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Work Location: London
Hours: Minimum of 37.5 per week.
